Argents’ national customs brokerage license is held by Liz Deaton, LCHB, CCS. Customs brokerage is performed in-house — the same company that forwards your freight and stores your inventory files your entries, rather than referring you to a third party. License details are available on request.
Argents is a validated partner in CBP’s Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (CTPAT) program. Validation means CBP has reviewed and verified our supply chain security practices on site — the higher of the two CTPAT statuses, and one that comparatively few brokers hold. CTPAT partners may receive reduced-scrutiny benefits at CBP’s discretion.
Argents is a Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier licensed by the U.S. Federal Maritime Commission. We contract directly with ocean carriers and issue our own bills of lading, which means we advocate for your cargo rather than reselling someone else’s space. Argents handles hazardous materials and dangerous goods shipments routinely, by both air and ocean, including the documentation, declarations, and carrier requirements each mode demands. Send us your SDS and we’ll confirm what we can move.
Our Chicago-area facility in Elgin, Illinois and our Charleston-area facility in Ladson, South Carolina are FDA-registered for holding and storing goods. For brands importing FDA-regulated products, that means inventory can be warehoused at Argents rather than at a separate registered site.

Every Argents warehouse is access-controlled by key card and covered by CCTV. Our facilities are owned, not leased or subcontracted, so security standards are set and enforced by Argents at all three buildings — Elgin, IL; Ladson, SC; and Tacoma, WA.
