Biography

After completing his Bachelor degree from Purdue University, Tony joined the Argents team in June of 2006 as the sales representative of our Charlotte branch location. Tony then transferred to Chicago in February 2009, where he became our regional sales manager at our Midwest hub location. Tony has helped to grow and expand Argents warehouse capabilities to over 350,000 sqft. nationwide with the addition of new clients and our Argents Fulfillment product. He was recently recognized by the WCA as a network advocate and leader in E-Commerce logistics.

As one of our co-owners Tony serves as VP of Sales to help to oversee the direction of the company as well as look after our international partners around the world.

Biography

Dagny graduated from University of Dayton with a BA in International Business in 1995.

Dagny started her career with Argents in January 1997, handling outside sales from a satellite location in Cleveland, Ohio. As she obtained a few customers, she decided she wanted to have her own office/team to ensure the customer service levels she was selling were being met. She moved to Charleston in June of 1997 and opened the Charleston location. During this time, she not only performed much of the outside sales for the location, she also took on all requirements to run and grow a successful new office for Argents. Once the Charleston office was successful, she stepped down as Manager and had a few children while working remotely with some of our international partners. In June of 2005, she moved to our Corporate Office to assume the role of Director of International Relations and Customer Service. In 2011, she was promoted to the Vice President of Operations role. “I look forward to moving us forward in the industry, perfecting our customer service and compliance company-wide, and to growing along with our great team of professionals.”

Biography

David Weigand attended Kutztown University in Pennsylvania, where he focused on business courses in corporate structure, logistics, supply chain, and finance, graduating in 2010 with a BA in Business Administration.

After graduation, David gained hands-on experience in international logistics and demand planning with companies including Godiva Chocolate and Ahold. His early career provided a strong foundation in real-world operations and global supply chain management.

David later relocated to the South in and joined Argents Express Group at their corporate office, working in pricing and planning alongside international freight agents. In 2015, he transitioned to Argents’ Chicago office to architect the company’s Fulfillment & Warehousing product. As Director of Fulfillment Operations, he led significant domestic expansion and growth, overseeing three facilities coast to coast.

Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer, David oversees all company operations, driving efficiency, service quality, and scalable growth across every business segment.

Biography

Forged from the concrete jungle currently standing as New Jersey, an accounting machine rose to the occasion mastering one responsibility after the next, decimating collections, improving cash flow, limiting cost exposure, and driving results. Standing strong with an economics background from the daunting and cruel state university named Rutgers, Henry persevered into the light and traveled south where his inner drive moved him to claim land and provide a long standing estates to raise an heir with his Italian princess by his side. With a great and powerful team to support him and his fellow colleagues, we prevail through each feat of strength that unfolds to impact the industry and grow to our fullest potential as Argents Express Group.

Biography

Elizabeth Deaton graduated from the University of Richmond with a BA in Economics. Her career in Transportation and Logistics started in Charleston and moved her to the West Coast where she worked both in Los Angeles and San Francisco. 

Eventually she made her way back to Charleston. Over the course of her career, she has worked in various positions for NVOCC’s, warehouses and freight forwarders. These roles have allowed her to develop a keen understanding of the transportation side of logistics. 

During her time with Argents Express, she has worked in both the import and export departments, obtained her Licensed Customs Broker license,, Within a short time, she had worked her way up to Station Manager of the Charleston office. 

Currently, Liz  is the Director of Import Operations for Argents Express Group. She is active with both the local chapter of the Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarders Association and the Maritime Association of South Carolina.

Biography

Adam graduated from Appalachian State University with a BSBA in Business Management with a focus on International Business. Shortly after graduation, he moved to Charleston, SC to begin his career in the logistics industry, working for one of the largest steamship lines in the world.

After working on the ocean side of things for nearly three years, gaining experience in several different departments, Adam accepted a position with Argents Express in the Air Export Department. In 2012, he was promoted to Operations Supervisor for the Charleston office, overseeing both office and warehouse operations on a day to day basis.

In June 2016, Adam relocated to Seattle, WA to open a new branch office/warehouse, expanding Argents’ footprint to the West Coast.

Biography

Kurt Schenkemeyer’s been in international logistics and operations management since the days when tracking a shipment meant crossing your fingers, making a few hopeful phone calls, and maybe lighting a candle for good measure. With over 2 decades in the industry, he’s seen it all—delays, detours, and the occasional miracle delivery—and somehow still manages to keep a smile on his face.

He kicked off his logistics journey in 1997 and worked his way through titles like Accounting Manager, Air Export Manager, and General Manager. If it had “Manager” in the name, Kurt probably did it—and probably has a story involving a forklift, a customs officer, and a lot of paperwork. He’s built teams, streamlined operations, and made sure everything stayed on the right side of the law.

In 2021, Kurt joined Argents Express Group as Director of Operations, and by 2023, he stepped into his current role as Director of Systems Operations & Compliance. Based in Elgin, IL, he now spends his days improving systems, decoding regulations, and wondering how many acronyms one industry can possibly invent.

But when the workday ends, Kurt heads home to his most important job: being a husband and dad to two kids. Between compliance audits and cargo manifests, he’s also navigating school projects, teenage eye rolls, and the mystery of how the snack cabinet is always empty. His family comes first—no exceptions—and he’s living proof that you can lead in logistics and still make it home in time to hear, “Dad, I need a ride… again.”

Biography

Starting with Argents in 2012 Frank has worked in various roles filling the needs of the company as Argents continued to grow into the logistics machine that it is today. Over the years Frank has built a vast amount of knowledge of the industry and specializes in all things domestic. In 2021 Frank was promoted to Domestic Operations Manager, expanding the department and building out a team of reliable individuals capable of handling all of your domestic shipping needs. From LTL to FTL, Heavy Haul to Specialized Projects Frank and his team are a one stop shop making sure your domestic shipments are moving correctly, cost effectively, and arriving on schedule.
